As a part of our 31 days of collaboration project for the month of January, Hibiscus Foundation for Social Welfare collaborated with V-Shesh to host a session on the basics of Indian Sign Language. This helped spread awareness on hearing disabilities and the importance of inclusivity in working environments. The session was interactive, and encouraged every participant to sign along with the trainers; this added a personalized touch. The one hour session focused on teaching the participants the basics of the alphabet. This included a few essential greetings and other basic statements that can be used for day-to-day conversations.
